International Construction Arbitration: Core Concepts for Arbitration Practitioners Webinar 1: Front-End Project Delivery Issues
For young arbitration practitioners, the learning curve for complex international construction arbitrations can be steep. The Society of Construction Law North American is proud to partner with the ICDR Y&I to coordinate a four-part webinar series where construction experts from around the world will discuss the core concepts young arbitration practitioners should understand when tasked with overseeing complex construction disputes. This webinar series is a must for any young arbitration practitioners seeking to understand the ins and outs of construction disputes.
Webinar 1: Front-End Project Delivery Issues – In the first webinar of the series, panelists Aisha Nadar, Wendy Venoit, Richard Wong, and Nicholas Gould will discuss key “front-end” construction issues that practitioners regularly confront during the contracting phase of a project and how those issues arise in connection with future disputes. This one-hour webinar will introduce concepts such as project delivery methods, risk allocation, contract pricing, form contracts (including FIDIC), and dispute resolution clauses.
