Dispute Resolution Alters Construction Sector

Tuesday, 2 June 2020

The SCL-North America is pleased to be an Event Supporter for the RICS & CIArb 2020 Construction Dispute Symposium taking place in Toronto on June 2, 2020.

The new prompt payment and adjudication provisions under Ontario’s Construction Act have ushered in a fundamental shift in the way payments flow on a construction project. This new process applies to all projects, regardless of size, and to all players.

On June 2, RICS is convening leading practitioners in construction practice, construction law and dispute resolution to discuss “Practices and emerging trends in construction law and dispute resolution.” The symposium concludes with a reception and dinner in the evening. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear from insiders and industry leaders on this emerging topic.” As a supporter of RICS, SCL members are eligible to receive the member price on registration.
